How do you get a first grader to knit?
Knit Pirates!
Once we get the pattern all written up, I will post it.
SoOoOoOo Cute! Sorry, pirates aren't cute, its SoOoOoO awesome.
We knit them flat.
The Middle Little Guy sewed in most of the ends and sewed up the back.
I added the eyes and sewed on the arms (that part was a bit tricky).
Lastly, The Middle Little Guy sewed up the hat (that I had cut out pieces for and needle felted on).
The whole project was done in four classes with homework in between.
